Another Arrest made In Baltimore to Altoona Drug Investigation



Another arrest has been made in the investigation into a Baltimore to Altoona drug operation.
 
On Wednesday, the Blair County Drug Task Force arrested 36 year old Melissa Marie Thompson of 1424 18th Avenue.
 
Thompson and several other new participants have been named in the alleged drug scheme. A grand jury presentment, unsealed Thursday indicates Thompson participated in dealing drugs for her long time boyfriend Stephen Piner.
More than a dozen arrests have been made over the past two years in “Operation Last Call”. Participants allegedly smuggled cocaine and other drugs to Altoona from Baltimore.
