Home Rule Eyed By Altoona Council



At last night’s City Council meeting, Councilman Dave Butterbaugh offered up one reason that a change to Home Rule would be better than the current situation.
 
 
Solicitor Larry Clapper offered another reason for changing the current form of government in Altoona.
 
 
Should the city change to Home Rule, the council-manager form of government could still be in play or a strong mayor form of government could be chosen.
