The Altoona Police are investigating multiple thefts from vehicles.
Early Sunday morning someone entered and stole items from several vehicles parked along the 1800-2900 blocks of Bell, Crawford, Columbia, 1st, 7th Avenues, and Edgewood Drive.
At one of the locations a resident observed two people at his vehicle who fled after the resident shouted at them. After catching up to the suspects a struggle ensued before the two alleged thieves got away.
Items stolen included cameras, checkbooks, hub caps, shooters bag containing black powder for muzzle loading weapons, purses/bags, cash, umbrella w/carrying case, and a firearm.
