Judge Rules Against New Trial For Sandusky

Former Penn State Assistant Football coach Jerry Sandusky will not be getting a new trial.

Yesterday Judge John Cleland ruled against a new trial for Sandusky.  The defense team for Sandusky had argued they were not given enough time to prepare for the trial, which ended with a 45-count guilty verdict.  Sandusky is serving a thirty-to-sixty- year sentence for sexually abusing ten boys.  His attorneys say they will file an appeal on Cleland’s ruling within thirty days.
