McGinnis Speaks Out On Hot Issues During Ribbon Cutting Event

At yesterday’s ribbon cutting ceremony at the 79th district office of state representative John McGinnis we had a chance to ask the newcomer to Harrisburg his feelings about current issues making headline.

One of those topics was outsourcing the management of the Pennsylvania lottery to British firm, Camelot Global Services.

The issue of selling wine and spirits in the state was also addressed with McGinnis telling us he’d like to see the state sell off the liquor stores as soon as possible.

And what about the pension time bomb.

McGinnis says he supports a plan that puts all new employees into a defined contribution plan, while not changing anything concerning current retirees.

Constituents will have a chance to meet State Representative McGinnis during Open House Hours at the local office today and Friday 10-2pm each day.
