An accident earlier this week involving an Altoona Area School District bus remains under investigation.
 
None of the elementary school passengers were injured Tuesday afternoon when their bus was re-ended along Ruskin Drive.
 
District spokeswoman Paula Foreman says the bus had just begun its afternoon run and there were 41 students on board. Each was evaluated by emergency personnel before being released to their parents. City police have not released the names of either driver.
