A former Altoona Area School District teacher and principal is in lone to become the district’s next leader. School board members will vote on February 19th to hire Tom Otto as superintendent.
A proposed 4-year contract will pay Otto $141,000 a year. A search committee made the selection on Saturday while reviewing final candidates for the job. Otto currently serves as superintendent of the Clearfield School District – a position he’s held since 2011.
Current Superintendent Dr. Dennis Murray will end his 29-year tenure on June 30th. He announced his retirement last summer.
I would've just posted this on Facebook, but Facebook doesn't allow you to post GIFs (like this little animation).
Maybe the $1.1 BILLION price tag isn't so crazy?
