The Newry man who held police at bay for nearly nine hours Sunday morning is out of jail on bond.
A Blair County Prison spokesman says Mark Wendt posted $200,000 bail Monday afternoon. State Police allege that Wendt had gone to his estranged wife’s home, where he argued with her and a brother-in-law. Troopers say he opened fire on the home before fleeing the scene.
Wendt is then accused of barricading himself inside his own home. A State Police SERT team used flash grenade to end the standoff and take Wendt into custody.
He’s facing aggravated assault and burglary charges – and he’s been ordered to stay away from his wife while out on bond.
I would've just posted this on Facebook, but Facebook doesn't allow you to post GIFs (like this little animation).
Maybe the $1.1 BILLION price tag isn't so crazy?
