Supervisor Frank Meloy says the area is way too congested with cars before and after school -- and the issue needed addressed.
Meloy says parents who walked their children to school were concerned about someone being struck by a car because there are no sidewalks.
Chief Ron Heller and the district’s security team had been working to find a solution to the problem. The ordinance will be up for formal adoption next month.
