An Altoona man is dead after a two-vehicle crash early Sunday morning in Logan Township.
The accident happened around 1:30AM along East Sixth Avenue near Greenwood Road. Logan Township Police say a pickup truck driven by 60-year-old David Eaken crossed the center line and struck an oncoming truck.
Eaken’s truck then struck the side of a tractor trailer, which was parked along the roadway. Eaken was pronounced dead at the scene. The female drive of the second truck was not injured.
