911 Director Says Digital System Working Well

Blair County’s new digital 911 system has now been operating for a month and officials say so far things are going well.

Director Mark Taylor says there are still some bugs to work out – mostly technical adjustments on some frequencies. Going forward, Taylor says the county has entered into an agreement with a company that will monitor the system’s accuracy.

Taylor says the biggest complaint from residents – their analog scanner’s no longer work.
