Former PA Senator Looking For Spot on PSU Board of Trustees

Former Pennsylvania Senator Robert Jubelirer is running for one of three open alumni seats on the Penn State Board of Trustees.

The 74 year old Penn State alumnus served in the state Senate from 1975 to 2006, representing Blair, Bedford, Huntingdon and Fulton counties.

He supports Gov. Tom Corbett's antitrust lawsuit against the NCAA and its sanctions against Penn State including a $60 million fine resulting from the Jerry Sandusky sex abuse scandal.

Jubelirer also feels that in light of the recent report released by the Paterno family, the board should to take another look at the Freeh report which accused Paterno of participating in a cover-up of the Sandusky scandal.
