Power Outage In Roaring Spring

Some residents living in Roaring Spring found themselves in the dark last night.

The lights went out around 6:45PM for about half the borough’s residents. A fire department official says a telephone pole snapped near Wilson and Main Streets.

Power crews worked quickly to get service restored. Officials believe a wind gust was likely responsible for the outage.
