According to state police, a week ago 23 year old Brian Pope, Jr. of Baltimore, Maryland and 19 year old Ashley Nail of New Baltimore, Somerset County, conspired to steal pot from three men on Riverview Road. Pope is accused of pointing a gun at the victims.
When one of those men took off in his car, Nail drove after him and during the pursuit was pulled over by police. A search of the vehicle turned up drugs and the gun.
A preliminary hearing is set for Nail and Pope on Wednesday while one of the victims will also be facing drug charges.
