Two city women are facing charges following a domestic violence incident late last night.

Around 11:30 police were called to the area of the alley at 12^th Street and 6^th Avenue where they found Christine Lamca and her partner, Ashley Mulhollen involved in a fight.  Police say that punches were thrown but no serious injuries resulted.

The women have been charged with simple assault. Lamca faces an additional charge of resisting arrest as police had to use pepper spray on her before they could take her into custody.
