Altoona Police have charged a city man with sex crimes involving a 12-year-old.
City police say the alleged incidents happened over a period of time. Officers arrested 42-year-old Stephen Mark Rose Wednesday and charged him with felony sexual assault and corruption of minors.
Rose was arraigned in front of Magisterial District Judge Jeff Auker and lodged in the Blair County Prison in lieu of 10-percent of $15,000 bail. A preliminary hearing has been set for a later date.
