State Police say they will cite the driver of a truck that crashed in Antis Township Wednesday, spilling processed human waste into a marshy area.
Troopers say Todd Keith of Tyrone was traveling too fast for the poor roadway conditions when the crash occurred. The truck veered off Bellwood Avenue in Pinecroft, crossed the northbound, crashed into a ditch and then rolled onto its side.
Keith suffered minor injuries in the crash and was taken to Altoona Regional. State police tell WRTA News the road was snow-covered at the time.
Burgmeiers Hauling, which owns the truck, led the cleanup efforts under the supervision of the Department of Environmental protection. The truck was carrying more than 17 tons of waste when it crash.
I would've just posted this on Facebook, but Facebook doesn't allow you to post GIFs (like this little animation).
Maybe the $1.1 BILLION price tag isn't so crazy?
