Blair County’s Valley View Nursing Home may have a new owner as soon as tomorrow.
Final bids for the facility are due at 2:00PM today. A vote to sell the property could happen as early as tomorrow. County leaders say five potential buyers remain interested in Valley View – and have submitted preliminary bids ranging from $12-million to $16.1-million.
Commissioners Terry Tomassetti and Diane Meling have spent the past two weeks touring homes owned by the potential buyers to observe first-hand the operation of their facilities. Nurses and other union workers have been rallying against any sale.
Meling and Tomassetti says the move is necessary to ensure the future finances of the county. Stay with WRTA News for the very latest on the Valley View Home offers and latest information as it continues to develop.

I would've just posted this on Facebook, but Facebook doesn't allow you to post GIFs (like this little animation).
Maybe the $1.1 BILLION price tag isn't so crazy?
