Local Man Faces Charges in Possible Centre County DUI Crash
An Altoona man could be facing DUI charges following a weekend crash in Taylor Township, Centre County.
State Police say 40 year old Michael McGee, was traveling north on state Route 350 near Stahl’s Lane a little before 5PM Sunday when his car crossed into the southbound lane, almost hitting another vehicle head-on. After getting his car back in the correct lane, McGee lost control, left the roadway and crashed into a tree.
McGee was taken to Altoona Hospital for observation.
Police are now waiting for the results of a blood alcohol test.
