Employees Upset, Angered by Valley View Sale

About 20 Valley View Home employees were on hand Tuesday as the Blair County Commissioners voted to sell the facility – most left the meeting in tears.

The vote also angered some workers – who began to chant before departing.

The employees refused to address the media.

A concerned citizen, Mike Sanders told us that his mother had spent time at Valley View and his wife is a former employee and he opposes the sale.

Reliant Senior Care officials told the commissioners they had no immediate plans to replace the staff with their own workers.
