There are new abuse accusations being lodged against a now deceased Franciscan Friar.
 
A woman now claims she too was sexually assaulted by Stephen Baker. The incidents allegedly occurred at Bishop McCort Catholic High School when she was a student there. It’s the first time a female victim has come forward.
 
Attorney Richard Serbin released a statement to local media Wednesday saying its come to his attention that other female athletes and cheerleaders may have been abused. Baker worked as an athletic trainer at the school in the late 1990’s.
 
He’s accused of molesting dozens of teenagers both locally and in Ohio. The 62-year-old Baker committed suicide in late January while living at St. Bernadine Monastery in Newry.
