City, AASD Students to Partner for Day of Service

The City of Altoona is partnering with the Altoona Area High School and Central Blair Recreation for a major clean-up event.
Public Works Director Dave Dietrich says more than 300 students are slated to participate in the day of service. Dietrich says he’s compiling a list of things around town that need to be done.
Dietrich says some of the students will also work to cleanup public parks. A final date for the event has not been set – but officials say it will occur by the end of the school year.
