Work Begins on Route 764 Between Lloyd Street and Greenwood Road

PennDOT says work will begin today on the Route 764 Lloyd Street to Greenwood Road resurfacing and ADA ramp upgrade project in Logan Township and the City of Altoona, Blair County.
Work on this project will consist of removing and replacing the ADA ramps and sidewalks along Lloyd Street to standard specifications. Once this work is completed milling and paving work will take place along the three mile section of roadway, as well as signal upgrades with pedestrian push buttons.
Traffic control will consist of permanent long term signing with flagging operations while the roadway is limited to a single lane.
All work on this $1 million project will be completed by mid-August, 2013.
Motorists are advised to be patient and use caution while traveling through the work zone.
