Former Commissioner Terry Wagner Dies

Funeral plans have been set for a former Blair County Commissioner who lost his battle with Parkinson’s Disease.
Terry Wagner died last week. He was 70-years-old.
Wagner was a retired U.S. Army veteran who entered county government after serving his country for 30 years. He became Blair County’s chief clerk in 1994 – a position he held until 2006 when he was appointed commissioner after John Eichelberger won election to the state Senate. Wagner’s second retirement came in 2008 when his short term on the board came to an end.
Friends will be received on Wednesday from 2:00PM-4:00PM and 6:00PM-8:00PM at Zion Lutheran Church in Hollidaysburg. A funeral service with military honors will be held at 10:00AM Thursday.
