The demolition of the former Russo Building on 31st street has come to an end.
Stan Boinovych of Dilapidated Demolitions gave an update on the project to county leaders on Tuesday. Boinovych says the company planted new grass and brought the parcel back up to the specifications set forth by the city.
He tells WRTA News it was a tough job.
The board praised Boinovych’s company for its work. Blair County Tax Payers shelled-out more than $123,000 to demolish the property. The parcel is set to be auctioned off next Wednesday when the county holds its annual judicial sale because of unpaid taxes.
