City police say back on the 11th of July they responded to the rear of 4040 4th Avenue for a report of an unconscious pregnant woman. They found Weakland at the scene and had her transported to the UPMC Altoona Emergency Room where she was unresponsive but breathing. At the hospital, an emergency C-section was performed on Weakland who was 38 weeks pregnant, and during the emergency delivery, the child had a seizure and had to be flown to the Conemaugh Hospital’s Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
A lab analysis indicated a positive result for multiple prescription medications some of which weren’t prescribed to Weakland.
Weakland has been jailed in Blair County Prison in lieu of $15,000 straight cash bail.
