Former APD Officer Ordered To Pay Beating Victim's Expenses

The former Altoona Police officer who is currently appealing a jail sentence for an assault has been ordered to pay the victim’s medical expenses.
Duane Eichenlaub on Wednesday was ordered by Blair County Judge Timothy Sullivan to pay Earl Eshelman just under $9,800.
Eichenlaub is looking at up to 23 months in jail for beating up on Eshelman at Pellegrine’s Lounge on Memorial Day 2010 while he was off duty.
