Police to Crack Down on Labor Day Drinking and Driving

State and local police will be cracking down on impaired drivers this Labor Day weekend.
Altoona Police Chief Janice Freehling tells WRTA News while it’s okay to celebrate the end of summer and an extra day off work; it needs to be done responsibly.
Freehling says her department will be conducting roving patrols that will also crack down on aggressive driving. A series of DUI checkpoints and undercover alcohol operations are planned for this weekend.
