Shellsburg Man Sentenced In Sex Case

The Bedford County man convicted in December of last year on 24 counts of sex offenses involving his teenaged daughters was sentenced Wednesday to serve 19 to 56 years in State Prison.
56 year old Stephen Weaver, of Schellsburg must also register with authorities as a sexually violent predator.
A Bedford County jury had convicted Weaver of rape, indecent deviate sexual intercourse and numerous counts of indecent assault.
Weaver is also facing federal charges in an unrelated federal bomb possession case. He’s accused of building pipe bombs allegedly discovered in his home back in 2011.
