Altoona Police are on the hunt for the man who robbed a city discount store at gunpoint Monday morning.
Officers were called to the Dollar General at 311 South Lloyd Street just after 8:00AM. Investigators say a white male entered the business, approached a clerk and displayed a gun in his waistband. He demanded cash from a register.
The robber got away with a small amount of money. Police say the suspect was thin and had short black hair. He was wearing white shorts and had a white sweatshirt turned inside out.
Anyone with information about the armed robbery is urged to contact Altoona Police at 949-2489.
