APD: Hollidaysburg Woman Embezzled $150,000 from Employer

Altoona Police say a Hollidaysburg woman embezzled $153,000 from her employer.
City police investigators arrested 68-year-old Leona Gebhart on Thursday. Gebhart worked at Henderson’s Printing Company, where she served as comptroller. Authorities allege that the theft of the money occurred over the past 11 years.
Gebhart has been charged with theft by unlawful taking, receiving stolen property, forgery and access device fraud. She was arraigned in front of Magisterial District Judge Todd Kelly and released on $35-thousand unsecured bail. She’ll face a preliminary hearing at a later date.
