The Altoona Area school board will hold a non-voting session next month to discuss the district’s updated Comprehensive Plan.
Board members tell WRTA News that several issues are under discussion, including future graduation requirements, the implementation of Pennsylvania’s Common Core Standards and access to special education services. The plan is currently on display on the Altoona Area School District website.
Officials say everything will be under discussion on October 7th. School directors will then formally vote on the plan at their October 21st board meeting.
