APD: City Man Scammed Customers

Altoona Police say a man with a history of scamming people out of their money is back at it again.
Shawn Price was taken into custody Monday on charges of theft by deception and receiving stolen property. City police allege the 24-year-old Price took money from customers who had hired him to seal their driveways.
Court documents show Price was paid but he never performed the work. Investigators say Price has several similar court claims pending against him for the same scheme. City police say anyone who may have been defrauded by Price is urged to give them a call to file a police report.
