Bishop Bartchak in Harrisburg

The top church official in the Altoona-Johnstown Catholic Diocese will be in Harrisburg today to meet with state lawmakers and attend some meetings.
The diocese says Bishop Mark Bartchak will deliver the invocation on the floor of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives at 11:00AM. Bishop Bartchak was invited to the state capitol by House Speaker Sam Smith.
He will then attend the annual Board of Governors meeting of the Pennsylvania Catholic Conference Tuesday afternoon. Television coverage of the reconvening of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives will be carried live on the Pennsylvania Cable Network.
