More information on health plans in Pennsylvania is expected to be available soon on a website that's central to the federal health care law's insurance exchange.
The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services says the information will become available today that will allow Pennsylvanians to shop in the new exchanges.
That information includes how much a plan costs and which doctors and hospitals it covers. Pennsylvanians without health insurance can start shopping from among 56 approved plans, although their choice will be limited by where they live and the type of plan they want. Coverage begins January 1st.
The website is designed to let people to easily compare plans. People whose income is low enough are eligible for a tax credit to help pay for it.
