Penn State Defendants' Three New Filings Seek Details
The three former Penn State administrators accused of a criminal cover-up of the Jerry Sandusky child molestation case are asking prosecutors to produce more details about the allegations they face.
Three sets of requests for ``bills of particulars'' have been filed in Dauphin County court by lawyers for Graham Spanier, Tim Curley and Gary Schultz.
The three men are awaiting trial on allegations that include perjury and conspiracy. Spanier is the university's former president, while Curley has retired as athletic director and Schultz has retired as vice president. The requests seek information that includes exact times, dates and places where crimes are alleged to have occurred, for example.
A spokesman for the state attorney general's office, which is prosecuting the case, says the requests will be answered ``in due course.''
