Local Pharmacy Sells Winning Mega Millions Ticket

Someone’s bank account just got a boost thanks to a winning lottery ticket sold at a local business.

Friday’s $250,000 Mega Millions ticket was sold at Thompson’s Pharmacy on Broad Avenue in Altoona. Thompson’s will receive $500 for selling the winning ticket.

Lottery officials won’t confirm the identity of the winner until the prize is claimed and the ticket is validated.
