Pcn President And "Pa Books" Host Brian Lockman To Sign Books At Special Blair County Event
PCN President, author and host of “PA Books,” Brian Lockman, will be on hand to meet booklovers and to sign copies of his World War II books during a special Blair County literary event on Saturday, November 2 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Lockman, along with more than a dozen other authors, will be signing books during the event at the Blair County Genealogical Society located at 431 Scotch Valley Road in Hollidaysburg.
Aside from hosting “PA Books” for the past 17 years, Lockman has authored four books including a companion to “PCN Tours,” “Pioneers of Cable Television,” along with “World War II: In Their Own Words” and “World War II Reflections.”
The World War II books are based on PCN’s award-winning television series, “World War II: In Their Own Words.” Since the project began in 2002, PCN has gathered more than 300 interviews with veterans from all branches of service. For historic preservation and education use, the network has donated a majority of those veteran discussions to the National Veterans’ History Project in Washington, D.C.
