To the concerned Blair County Tax Payer

To the concerned Blair County Tax Payer

I would simply like to shed light on a subject that needs a lot of it.  The lack of service delivered by our Postal Service.

Around this time every year the Blair County Tax office writes a check on our behalf to pay for postage   upwards of $60.000 dollars to mail tax notices.  This particular mailing cost Tax Payers $11.95 for each letter mailed.  First class stamp+certified number+certified return receipt+restricted delivery.  This is a first class rate for a first class service.  Last year, years prior and presently we did/do not receive the first class service.
